The High Court of Gujarat (Gujarat High Court) at Sola, Ahmedabad has been announced the notification for Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2016 for filling total 234 Vacancies of English Stenographer Grade - I (Class-II), English Stenographer Grade - II (Class-III), Gujarati Stenographer Grade - I (Class-II), Gujarati Stenographer Grade - II (Class-III) in the subordinate courts of the state of Gujarat.

Age Limit : For Grade-I (21 to 40 Years), For Grade-II (21 to 35 Years) as on 15/10/2016. Age Relaxation as per Government Rules.
Selection Procedure :
(a) For Grade-I Posts - Stenography Test and Viva-voce Test Only
(b) For Grade-II Posts - Written Test (Objective Type-MCQs) and Stenography Test Only
Job Location : subordinate courts of the state of Gujarat
Application Fee: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially & Educationally Backward Classes, Differently Abled Persons and Ex-Servicemen are required to pay
Examination Fees of Rs. 250/- (plus the usual Bank Charges) and all other Candidates are required to pay Examination Fees of Rs. 500/- (plus the usual Bank Charges).
Educational Qualifications :
1. Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification. .
2. For English Stenographer - Speed in English Short Hand 120 w.p.m for Grade-I / 100 w.p.m. for Grade-II;
3. For Gujarati Stenographer - Speed in English Short Hand 90 w.p.m for Grade-I / 75 w.p.m. for Grade-II.
4. Basic knowledge of Computer Operation is essential as per Government Resolution dated 13/08/2008.
5. Sufficient knowledge of English, Gujarati & Hindi Language.
